Concealed Base Plate - Heavy Duty - 1150mm high for semi privacy Gates (for fixing to concrete slabs or timber)
Fix down your gate posts the right way with this heavy-duty base plate.
This base plate is ideal for use with setting up gates. It can be used with our 1-Way posts, adding the proper structure and support when you install latches/hinges.
It features an internal fitting design, so your post just sleeves right over! This is perfect for a concealed, discrete look.
- This base plate measures at 1150mm high with a 2mm thick vertical walls.
- The base plate itself is 6mm thick – heavy duty.
- This ensures the base plate provides your post with the proper structure and rigidity needed.
This base plate is constructed from a cold-galvanised steel. Built to withstand anything.
Cold galvanising is the process where steel is reinforced by painting it with a zinc-rich coating of paint. This provides extra durability and corrosion resistance to the base plate.
No need to worry about rusting, or the elements damaging it!

The base plate features 4 x fixing holes. It connects to the fencing post using Tek screws. You can also use domical covers to hide any screw fixings,
Reminder: This concealed base plate system isn’t suitable for use where wind load considerations are required.
The hardware and screws required for fixing this base plate are sold separately. You can find them in our Hampton PVC Fencing section, as well as compatible gates and panels.

We offer both delivery and pick up options. For delivery – we aim for a 3-7 working day timeframe if you’re located in a metro area. You can find a complete list of these locations here.
We also offer pick up at our warehouses – so you can drive and pick them up directly from us (free of charge). We have warehouses located all throughout Australia.
The loading zones at the warehouses are also designed to accommodate bigger transport, such as light trucks or cars with trailers.
